About Our Founder.

Ratna M. Scherrer is graduate of Troy University with a Masters in International Relations and is a military spouse.

She was stationed in Oklahoma for a year where she was exposed to Native American culture and peoples. She attended powwows, art festivals, and cultural centers trying to learn more about this little known segment of the US.

Eventually, she discovered that the digital revolution had not only left many Native artisans behind but was also actively harming their way of life and ability to earn a livelihood.
